Vintage Sunbonnet Sue Quilt, Small
Very sweet example of the classic Sunbonnet Sue quilt pattern
Measures approximately 47" x 72"
Features 12 individually appliquéd Sunbonnet Sue figures arranged in a three-by-four layout
Each figure is made from a charming assortment of vintage florals, stripes, geometrics, and novelty-print fabrics
Hand quilted in a diagonal lattice pattern using contrasting red thread
Fabric has a soft, slightly stretchy jersey-like feel
Lightweight construction makes it lovely for display,
Vintage condition with age-related toning, scattered marks, loose threads, and wear along the unfinished or frayed outer edges
This quilt looks like it may be a cut-down from a larger quilt. It’s hard to age this quilt, but is likely from the 50s.
Please keep in mind that each quilt is pre-loved. We do our best to document any flaws, but some may go unnoticed. All quilts are sold as-is, with no returns or exchanges. Please review all photos before purchasing, and feel free to contact us if you’d like additional pictures.
